Archos have provided a superb offering with the Gmini 20gb pocket mp3 and mp4 player. Capable of full audio and video playback and also with some pretty neat games this is THE unit for holidays and long journeys.

Fully ID3 compatible, you can fit approximately 5000 songs on this baby, not only that but you can also make full stereo recordings on the fly. The navigation is tremendously easy so finding your fave tune at the touch of a button is a doddle. You can drag and drop so no need to muck about with clunky software (itunes?). Got movies - no problem drop them onto your Archos and take them round to your chums house, plug your archos straight into their TV and your nights entertainment is underway.

We found one of the best features of this little baby is that you can plug a CF card straight in, this is awesome for use on holiday when you've taken your full memory up with snaps and video clips and want to take some more, just offload onto your Archos Gmini and your good to go.

The sound quality is excellent and the supplied headphones are pretty decent too. Its light, it looks good, it works great and it will keep you entertained.
