The Sandisk Sansa Fuze range of mp3 players are exceptional value for money. We particularly like the 8gb version as it is hardly any more expense than the 4gb model but you get double the memory.
It comes in a range of colours, although we are traditionalists and really like the classic slick black Fuze. Packed full of features including video playback, photo storage, voice recording and it even has a built in fm tuner although the quality of reception is not brilliant it is listenable.
As a dedicated radio it is one to avoid, similarly if you want this mainly for video you are best looking at a slightly higher budget, for the odd video on the go however it is fine.
Where the Sansa Fuze excels is in audio playback, competing with the more expensive portable players by Apple, Sony and the like, this unit kicks out tunes which are probably even better in sound quality than many of other mp3 players in the same price bracket and those that will cost you more than twice the price.
In short, if you're on a budget and need a good reliable and very portable unit to listen to your music on the go, this is the one.
